I wrote this after a phone call with my mom. I was struggling with a relationship and seeking her advise. After the phone call, I was inspired to write a song about my mom.
Moms are pretty smart., We all should just to listen to them a little more. . Hope you like it! :).

Thomas was my first love and I thought hey this is fun
But my Mama swore up and down that he wasn't the one
Now Thomas he tried with all of his might
to keep me but his grip became a little bit too tight.
He'd look over my shoulder yeah he was a controller
so I had to break it off with him in late October.
